German Shares Lose 0.94 Pct Friday
 

German shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index down 106.50 points, or 0.94 percent, to close at 11,200.62 points.

Deutsche Bank lost the most among the blue chips, down by 3.63 percent, followed by global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard and energy group RWE, which lost 3.49 percent and 3.13 percent respectively.

Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical, housing association Vonovia and multinational chemical firm Linde were the top three winners, rising 2 percent, 1.60 percent and 0.67 percent respectively.

Linde was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 4.49 billion euros (5.09 billion U.S. dollars).
